FUEL TV Airs The “Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast”

Airing Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (5:00 pm Pacific Time), again at 11:00 pm Eastern Time (8:00 pm Pacific Time) and re-airing several more times over the next month, FUEL TV will showcase the “Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast.”

The Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast is the first stop on the ASP World Tour. It is held at Snapper Rocks on Australia’s Gold Coast, which is arguably the best point break in the world. The Quiksilver Pro features the top 45 ranked professional surfers in the world, as well as local wild card entries. Jordy Smith (ZAF), Dane Reynolds (USA), Mick Fanning (2007 ASP World Title) among others challenge Kelly Slater (nine-time World Champion) for the World Championship.
